We are finally done! The roadway was paved Friday January 29th 2010. After a long process with the county and the engineers we moved forward. It has taken a lot longer than we expected as you can see by the optimistic statements from last year.
New access! There is also a faster access to and from the lots. North Valley Parkway has been completed and it is a new four lane road that runs adjacent to I17 from Carefree Highway into Anthem. Cloud Road connects to North Valley Parkway and provides rapid access to the I17 ramp North at Pioneer Road should you want to get to the high country. It also provides rapid access to the Southbound access to I17 at carefree Highway.
M&I's local bank representative has informed me that financing on these lots will be available subject to qualification.
Wall bids have been received and have been quoted to be completed in five working days. We are on schedule to sell lots by August 1, 2009.
All Redlines have been addressed and re-submission to Maricopa County will occur this week. We expect final approval to take place by the end of next week.
We are a little behind schedule. Our final plans are near completion for submittal. We expect the plans to be approved soon and then we will begin the completion of the roadway. Our target for lot sales is July - August 2009.

One thought from an interested parties centered around whether a gate was going to be provided to make this a gated community.
- If you have had the opportunity to travel along I17 between the 101 and Carefree Highway you will have noted that the expansion project is almost complete. This means that there will be three lanes in either direction between the 101 and carefree Highway making travel from this area much faster.
We contracted for the drilling of a second well and found 9.5 gallons per minute. We also contacted our water infrastructure company and have a plan for the creation of a water distribution system. We will be posting the plan for that system prior to the sale of the lots.
- The Well for the Rambling Road Development is scheduled to be drilled and capped by November 7th, 2008. With the water mainline infrastructure complete, and the well soon to be drilled, its on to the installation of the water tank. Once that's done, then the walls and the paving. The goal is to be done by January 2009.
